Yes, I'm an artist. I find that my passion for fine art gives me a unique perspective on marketing design: Aesthetics should be the first principal in design, don't you agree? If it doesn't catch your eye, then we're doing something wrong. I illustrate with Staedler graphite pencils on vellum paper and a number of different pigment media, including Lyra oil pencils, Prismacolor color pencils and Caran d'Ache pastel pencils.

Typically, I work from original photographs, however I have also produced commissioned works from literature and "en plein air."

My illustrations have appeared in numerous exhibitions throughout the state of Florida. They have become the foundation for pastel originals and have been selected for literary cover art and advertisement designs.
